Happy 20th Birthday to the University of Delaware Deltones.
We are more than a coed a cappella group - We are family.
Our motto “Friends First, Singers Second” has echoed throughout our history. This sentiment has been our lifeblood for the last 20 years. It carries an infectious beat that has captivated the hearts, minds, and ears of our friends and family. We have woven a web of support that is attached to all of our heart strings. It is designed to catch those that fall and is designed to push us forward. We all know that the web exists and that makes it easier for us to take risks. Knowing that someone will pick you up and carry you when you fall flat on your face allows you to try to jump higher, run faster, and reach for the stars. Let’s keep the legacy going. Happy Birthday. DFTG.
The simplicity of the application of paint is what makes this so special. It reminds me of being a kid and the power of creating whatever AND however I wanted. It feels light-hearted and fun. But, when I start to analyze the process of its creation, it feels sophisticated, calculated and grownup.
What a success.
This is beautiful and I am filing this under creatively awesome.
*Side note: What would happen if they spun the room around at a gagillion mph and created a giant spin art?
Joey and myself have had some incredible adventures in our life times. This trip to Appalachia began with a highly
successful challenging walk up the Appalachia Trail and ended with some of the greatest stories one could hope for. Some day I will share them with the interweb. Cheers to you Drew, Colin, Nate, and Joey.

Thankfully Yours: A Video Production Adventure.
Last week I had the opportunity to work with The University of Delaware Admissions Office and my good friend Drew Rifkin on a short film for The University. We journeyed all over Delaware’s campus to find out what people are thankful for this year. Working with the admissions office was beyond a great experience and I look forward to future projects with them.
I totally dressed up like a clown as well, so I win!
I Just remembered…
…that during the Jock Jams Power Hour (yes, this happened), we stood up and did the Macarena. I am seriously laughing at myself. We were so INTO it!
Jock Jams + Power Hour = Guaranteed Amazing Night. Try it sometime.
Also, let’s all make a commitment to bring back the Macarena. There is a whole new generation of youths who NEED this in their life.
screw the cupid shuffle… I vote macarena…
EDIT: we also had two wonderful couchsurfers visiting us (One from England and one from Germany). Trying to explain what the Jock Jams phenomenon
was is, turned out to be the second highlight of the evening.
GPOYW: Past Halloween Costumes
I’m just going to say it: This costume was probably the best one I have made.
It’s just a WIN. A complete win.
20 years of friendship all wrapped up into one film!
Next Spring, The Deltones Coed A Cappella group will be celebrating their 20 year anniversary! I will be making a documentary that covers the 20 year history of this extremely talented and everchanging group. With your help, we can make this the best film possible. I am looking for as many stories, videos, audio clips, and pictures to help tell their story.
If you are a friend, fan, family member, significant other, roommate etc and would like to participate, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I am open to ALL suggestions, ideas and thoughts on this project!
I am really excited to share just how special each and everyone in this group is.
Here is a quick taste of what’s to come!
